    1. Back at the beginning of November when I read book 1 in this trilogy The Keepers I liked the premise of the three sisters each being the Keeper of the three different Paranormal factions I have read a lot of books by author Heather Graham over the years and thought they were truly exceptional, especially her paranormals set in New Orleans like this series is When I realized however that this trilogy would be in three different parts written by three different authors it kind of threw me at first [...]

    4. Ok, so I read this because I was bored Not much changed I enjoy the urban fantasy genre a lot but when I read this a number of years ago it felt like every other urban fantasy.

    6. New Orleans is the home of many supernatural beings and in order to keep the peace, there are keepers One for each species, it s an elite group of warriors charged to keep the peace between human and the three largest supernatural species, vampires, shape shifters and the werewolves.Shauna MacDonald is the youngest of the three sisters and the keeper of the werewolves Together with her sisters she runs the local magic shop, but when a serial killer is targeting werewolves Shauna is determined to [...]

    7. Deborah LeBlanc is one of three fascinating authors who have collaborated for The Keeper series and has done so in expert fashion Describing herself as the caboose on this project, the challenge may have seemed insurmountable to a novice as LeBlanc followed in the footsteps of Heather Graham and Alexandra Sokoloff, tasked with limitless opportunities of her own imagination yet tethered by keeping the flavor and details found in the previous installments Yet LeBlanc not only met the challenge, sh [...]

    8. The Wolven is the the third and final novel in The Keepers trilogy The novel focuses on the youngest sister, Shauna, the Keeper of the werewolves Werewolves are being slaughtered in New Orleans, in horribly brutal ways that leave Shauna and Danyon the alpha of two of the murdered were baffled Neither can imagine who, or what, could be strong enough to subdue and brutalize a wolven Despite Danyon s attempts to handle the problem on his own, Shauna s stubborness draws them together as they investi [...]

    9. from Murphy s Library murphyslibrary This is the book with most well thought plot of the trilogy I loved how the balance between the envolvement of the characters and the storyline with all the murderes was well kept This story literally flew, when I got to breathe, it ended Shauna is amazing and maybe I liked her so much because she had time to grow in the two books befores this And Danyon, OMG I got a big crush on him What a shame It is surprising that I liked this book so much as it gives lot [...]

    10. The Wolven was a used paperback on my bookshelf I d purchased it years ago and forgot about I m not a huge Harlequin reader, but the Nocturn line has presented some interesting choices over the years unfortunately, this wasn t one of them An overly simplistic storyline with a gazillion plot holes too many clues, presented up front yet no one followed up on them , and a silly Keeper who seemed to be some type of low level mystic who acts as some sort of mitigator between the weres and other speci [...]

    11. I got an autographed copy of this one I couldn t wait to get home and start on it I liked the idea of the Romance in the story I liked all the characters I especially liked the big black lady from Sista s She reminded me a little of Lulu in Janet Evanovich s Stephanie Plum stories I wish the other two sisters had helped a little but then I also understood the reasons that they didn t The guy on the cover is a hunk but he does not look wolfy enough to fit the story for me The guy in my mind was [...]

    12. This is my first book by Deborah LeBlanc and I must say I totally enjoyed it Even though the books in this series are written by different authors, the flow is just flawless.I must say the chemistry between Shauna and Danyon is the best because there were already feelings towards each other and both were just denying that attraction. The storyline is interesting and intriguing I loved the details in the writing and I thought the plot was full of suspense.Having completed this series, I do however [...]

    13. 3 1 2 Stars Shauna MacDonald is the Keeper of the weres in New Orleans When 3 weres are found brutally murdered,, their fangs and claws removed, Shauna joins forces with Danyon Stone, an alpha were I liked this book It is the last of the Keepers Trilogy and I did not like Danyon as much as the heroes in the other 2 books I think it is that whole alpha wolf thing I also would have liked to see of Shauna s sisters in this book However, it is still good and the mystery kept me guessing A good end [...]

    14. This is the third book to a trilogy I borrowed this one and the second book from a friend who didn t have the first book The second book, The Shifters, by Alexandra Sokoloff was also so so I had never read any Harlequin Nocturnes before these two And, even though I didn t really enjoy these two I would like to read from the Nocturne line if something catches my attention.

    15. This book was entertaining but nothing special I don t think it was meant to be I like New Orleans as a back drop for the setting as it lends itself so well to paranormal The characters seemed to be less developed than the other two keeper books but it was an afternoon of fluff and it kept my attention so I can t complain.

    16. The series is called The Keepers each book deals with a specific sister and their particular charges This book was about the youngest sister who is the protector of the weres It was just as good as the other two The transition from one book to the next was nearly seamless Very good Plus, I just love happy endings

    17. Going into it, I didn t know this is a harlequin So, you should take my rating in context If you are into romance, I m sure you ll love it The second star is for the setting any book written by an author who loves New Orleans and the people of New Orleans and translates that love into any kind of story gets an extra star from me.

    18. Well I m glad this trilogy is finished Shauna was much likable than her sisters The story felt rushed, and things wrapped up too quick for my preference But I didn t find myself annoyed with Shauna, and she didn t fight her feelings attraction to Danyon.

    19. Very good bookLoved the werewolfs and all of their adventures I loved that they were in New Orleans and all thatVery well written and good book

    20. I enjoyed this book better than the second book in this trilogy Although I have to say that I really didn t feel that there was enough chemistry between the two main characters.
