    1. I found this book rather boring and that it concentrated on how other people have commented on Captain Cook s stay in Botany Bay in April of 1770 Long winded sections of the book focused on interpreting artists paintings of the events I would have liked analysis in to what Cook and the crew of the Endeavour actually did and the thoughts of the individuals as accurately recorded and then interpreted by the author.Overall not a great read, it has its moments, but wouldn t recommend.
