    1. This is a difficult review to write as I had mixed feelings about the book The story itself is based on a blog journal written by the author whilst she was pregnant and receiving cancer treatment It is readable and interesting, especially the first half of the book The author went against medical advice, which was to abort her baby, and chose life instead knowing that she might lose her own life in the process This decision is incredibly brave and selfless I liked the humanity honesty that the a [...]

    2. Fighting for Our Lives My Battle With Cancer to Save My Baby and Myself by Heather Choate is probably the most emotional book that I have read all year It is an awesome testimony of the determination of a mother and the power of faith.Life throws some very upsetting punches in Heather s direction Imagine being told that you have breast cancer at age 29while you re 10 weeks pregnant, with your 6th child Any one of these things can be overwhelming, but to have them all on you at one time and thriv [...]

    4. A True Victory Against CancerI don t necessarily agree with the Mormon doctrine but I found it heartwarming that she wanted to keep her baby despite having cancer She risked her life most of all and I m very happy her baby was healthy in the end This confirms that she made the right decision May both the mother and baby live a full, healthy life.

    5. Good readThis book gives women hope that there is life after breast cancer It was straight forward and real and I loved the way she was able to be so truthful and show the full spectrum of how cancer affects not only her body but the sacrifices that the rest of family endures.

    6. Best Book EverWords just can not express the emotions I feel for this book I feel so humbled As a cancer survivor myself I understand and every story is so different but I reward you for your courage and I thank you for this wonderful well written book Definitely a must read.

    8. This memoir is told through narrative and a series of journal entries It is completely raw, honest, and moving What an amazing testimony this mother has about following what God is leading you to do rather than what medical professionals think you should do.
