    2. A Touch of Honor The Honor Trilogy 1 Author J.P GriderTheme Paranormal Teen Romance Honor Stevens is no ordinary seventeen year old girl, whom struggles daily with constant physical pain Doctors run tests and scans and find nothing Ethan Sutherland the new mysterious loner boy at school with blonde hair and violet eyes that always seem to be staring constantly at Honor After one day at school Honor suffers from an intense migraine and fed up with Ethan s constant stares, she confronts him What i [...]

    3. Empaths, they ll drive you crazy with an emotional roller coaster J.P Grider takes her emphatic characters through feelings that double up because of their own nature She did a great job at pushing these emotions out to her audience without making one sick of them Instead they pulled me from one chapter to the next Honor the lead protagonist of the story jumps in to save those that were close to death, even though it would shorten her life, Because of her nature she could never say no to helping [...]

    4. What would you do if you could feel peoples pain How would you feel if you knew you could stop that pain, but in doing so, you knock years of your own life Honor is an empath, and that s the situation she s in Unfortunately, the story didn t catch my attention, and i ended up bored though most of the book Honor was a good person There aren t many people who would save someone they didn t like, knowing that it would knock years off their own life.Though, i really wanted to shout at her at times.S [...]

    5. A Touch of Honor was a easy quick read It was overall a good book especially for young adults It definitely has a different story line than most books out now which is a nice change, but I see a love triangle in the future I liked almost all of the characters in the book but unfortunately I didn t really like Ethan I am looking forward to the next book in the series and can t wait to see what happens next.

    6. What great book It was so easy to read, very quick The story line kept you thinking and wondering what would happen next Can t figure out if I m team Ethan or team storm yettiently waiting for books 2 3 Nice job JP grider

    9. Source Downloaded for free from 17 year old Honor has had a constant headache for months, and she s about to find out that it s because she s an empath and she feels other people s pain. What does being an empath mean though Can she really heal people with her hands And what will happen if she does This was an okay paranormal story, but aspects of it were just not good.I m a little bit torn over this one, because while I thought it held promise, there was also parts of this that were just ridicul [...]

    10. What if you could heal whomever you chose to touch Honor s parents have home schooled her since she was little because when she is around others, she gets very sick Her bones actually ache Keeping to herself is not going to work this last year of high school though Honor quickly saves a girl from being raped because she could literally feel it happening, as if to her They quickly become friends but still Honor is at a loss as to why she is in pain all the time Ethan is always looking at Honor, h [...]

    11. At first glance Honor is just like every teenage student going through every day teenage worries, but Honor is different she feels everyone else s pain Honor doesn t realise this until the hot 6ft something Ethan comes along, Honor had always thought that it was her that was ill, she is infact an empath, not only can she feel their pain but also remove it from them.Honor and Ethan soon become an item as he tries to help her deal with her emotions, this doesn t run smooth especially when Ethan s [...]

    12. I admit that I was disappointed with A Touch of Honor When I found it one , I was really excited because it had such an interesting premise I don t think I have ever read a book with an empath as a main character before, so that really appealed to me When I finally got it and had time to read it, I knew it wasn t going to be a book that I loved First of all, the writing style was not for me The way the author tried to imitate the way teenagers talk was completely unrealistic Being a teenager mys [...]

    13. This book was painful to read I wish I could give it no stars The writing really was not good and I had to force myself to finish reading Thank goodness it was a short book I really dislike it when an author tries to write like teenager talks Yo, manya gotta listen to me D ya understand We re gonna do it this way You don t need to write like that to capture the young adult s mind Similarly, several times throughout the book the author wrote Effin This is a book for teens, if you want your charac [...]

    14. I love the premise of this story line I have yet to read a paranormal book where the main characters are empaths I really liked how honest the author was in her approach to Honor s feelings, yes she can readily accept what she is, after years of doctors telling her there is nothing wrong with her, here is finally an answer Unlike other heroines in stories she is able to be a girl and be confused and cry, have temper tantrums, and still be a strong interesting character The relationship between t [...]

    15. The synopsis of this story was the most interesting part The story is too choppy to really flow easily There were also parts of the story that moved you to quickly from one scene to the next In some parts it felt like an outline of a story than an actual book The empathic thing had the potential to be really interesting, but this book just kind of fell flat The story line as well as the characters were very one dimensional and they stay that way though the entire book I am glad it was a free bo [...]

    16. I bought this book because I won the 2nd book via First reads giveaway I don t think this is a series I would have normally picked up, but it is a good read For me, it tends to be a little on the younger side yes I know its young adult Honor s age certainly shows, with her feelings going back and forth between Ethan and StormShe made me roll my eyes a few times and want to shake her, but I guess that means her character also pulled me in I do need to know how this will all end with the men out t [...]

    17. Honor is no ordinary teenager She feels pain on the inside and outside Honor is an empath An empath feels others pain and she can save lives but her life is put in danger each soul she saves Evil of a different kind weaves through the circle Will she be able to battle between the love between both brothers, Ethan and Storm Will she survive or find immortality to save lives This series is a love triangle with a paranormal twists Fall in love with Ethan, Storm and Honor.

    18. Sorta Cheesy But In a Good WaySome really Cheesy parts in this book like romance novel cheesy I felt like I was missing large chunks of this book First off girl with violet eyes Honor has super powers learns about them from a guy like her More drama of the high school variety Saves her friends and her enemies I feel like she is a really great heroine in that way super forgiving of those who are terrible to her It is an enchanting fun, quick novel can t wait for a sequel.

    19. FANTASTIC I chose this rating because it was the best book I ve ever read its very passionate,it has romance, fiction it s a very heart warming book.I would recommend this book to ever person who feels like they know what love is but don t know really and who loves romance I love this book and I think you will love it too Also if your sad or start to cry and you don t know why maybe you could be felling other people s pain

    20. I m on chapter 13 and I find Honour irritating The story is poorly executed Dialogue is painstakingly boring It could have been so much better More passionate, gripping, entertainingvand interesting but its very slow paced I m going to persevere but its tipping of 2 starts at the moment Update I finished book 1 I have books 2 and 3 but I have no interest in reading them The book didn t do anything for me.

    21. I probably would have enjoyed this if the dialoge didn t seem so forced, it also seemed to me that the author was forcing Honor and Ethan together I mean come on Ethan goes from creepy, to friend, to the love of Honor s life in the course of a few days That really doesn t ring true to me I also noticed that for one sentence it changed from first to third person Editing is useful Use it
