    1. Me gusto mucho mas que el primero pero todav a hab a momentos en los que estaban muy flojos o me aburr an espero que el tres en verdad me sorprenda.

    2. I enjoyed the first book in this series, Nocturnal, but it was lacking something that had me only liking the story Don t ask me what it is, because I probably can t tell you However, Nightmare was definitely better than the first book Although the pace was slow, I loved the story In Nocturnal, we learn that the supernatural creatures Ava is exposed to are Noctali They are angels, vampires, werewolves, every kind of supernatural creature there is Peter is a Noctalis a vampire angel And now that h [...]

    3. This story just keep getting better and better as it goes on I love the relationship between Peter and Ava as they struggle with the Claiming bond They need to figure out how to break Peter s promise with Di, who is Peter s mother in the way that she created him into a Noctalis what this book calls a vampire This book features character point of view swapping than it did in the first of the series That being said, it s also easier to tell whose point of view it is When a chapter starts from the [...]

    4. Source I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read to review basis as part of the Noctalis Blog Tour Thanks to Supagurl books and Chelsea Cameron This is the second book in the Noctalis series, and kicks off 1 week after the end of book 1 Nocturnal.Nightmare opens with Ava telling her Mom exactly what Peter is, which makes her mother tired, which later turns into a fainting spell Ava is obviously upset as she feels that she has made her mother feel worse.Things between Ava and Pete [...]

    5. First Thoughts Well after reading the first book in this series I was super excited to read this one The first one literally had me in tears and I wanted to see if that theme would continue or if we would get to learn about Peter and the other Noctalis. The Main Character Ava Claire Sullivan in this book I kind of had a love hate thing going she is still pretty awesome with dealing with everything, and that scene with her and Jamie was super sweet and totally describes what friends are for but h [...]

    6. This was originally reviewed on The Book Hookup here.My review I couldn t wait to start this book right after finishing Nocturnal I m addicted to this series about Ava, the human, and Peter, the Noctalis, and their tie to each other However, their relationship goes beyond just the human falling in love with the angel vampire I m not going to spoil, but just believe me that there s to it than them getting googly eyes at each other It is definitely physical, something they learned when Peter had [...]

    8. I think the ending of book 1 was pretty sweet Book 2 starts out a week later I think the plot was pretty consistent There is no doubt that Ava has fallen in love with Peter, but even though they steal kisses here and there, they cannot fully be in a romantic relationship because of the promise that Peter made to his Mother Di If he breaks that promise, well something bad happens, as you know from Book 1, but you get a deeper understanding in Nightmare Ever since Peter and Ava did that Claim, she [...]

    9. As if things aren t complicated enough she can t let Peter fall in love with her I felt so bad for Ava and all that she was dealing with She was still coping with her mom being sick and now having to figure out how to help Peter Ava forces Peter to try to figure out a way for him to break his promise so he can be free to love and be with her withouht fear of dying I have to say this is when I really started to love Ava because she wasnt going down without a fight She was willing to do anything t [...]

    10. The original review can be found at Deb s Crazy Obsession.I loved the first book in this series review here It had a slower pace than I d normally appreciate but it introduced so many new things that a higher pace wasn t necessary This book on the other hand It feels like there is nothing happening They have a whole lot of troubles coming their way and it builds and it builds and then it hit the high point We get half way through that only high point before we re left with a cliffhanger for the [...]

    11. GAH There are so many things I absolutely LOVE about this series, and then there are these stupid things that annoy me to no end s not fair I feel whiny.OK, so lots of good stuff in here Still LOVING the way Peter is written and everything from his perspectivehe never fails to pleasantly surprise me I think Ava got a bit annoying in this book Her Mom is still 1 AWESOME though I don t get Tex I just don t I m still waiting for something redeemable for her.I STILL get all these parts where eithe [...]

    12. In this sequel to Nocturnal we see that Peter and Ava are trying their hardest not to fall in love with each other because it is life or death for Peter if he does Thats a hard thing not to do Not fall in love It s like trying to keep a chocoholic from eating in chocolate In this instance I can sympathize with Ava because Peter continues to be great He is there whenh she most needs him to help deal with the saddness that comes about when she thinks about losing her mother or when Iven shows up t [...]

    13. Nightmare begins with Ava s wanting to share her secret about Peter with her mom,Claire Her mom takes the unbelievable bravely and eventually supports her daughter s relationship for Peter for what it is I m sure she would much have preferred that Ava date nice live boys, but what s done is done as far as the claiming and what it entails, soAva also tries to make it right with Jamie Barton, her sports and detention pal She shares that her mom is near death and she supports his issues concerning [...]

    14. I don t know about most Chelsea, but most sequels are hard to write It is hard to live up to the expectations after such a great novel is written like Nocturnal was I however found Chelsea Cameron to make an even better sequel than her initial book, Nocturnal Nightmare was a thrilling read and I thought it was made of pure awesomeness Nightmare focused less on her mom having cancer, which I found to be a relief I love how interesting the relationships become in this book Texas and Victor finally [...]

    16. Full Review at What s Beyond Forks Nightmare, the second book in the Noctalis Chronicles by Chelsea M Cameron, picks up where Nocturnal left off This sequel did not disappoint, and I liked it just as much as the first book The main characters have changed through out these two books I m not just talking about their relationship, which intensifies by the minute Peter, for example is funny and cute as he is learning to act human He s had me from the beginning with his blinks The other characters b [...]

    17. I think that Nightmare is even better than book one, Nocturnal I felt like we really got to dive into the meat of the story, and I loved that we got to know the characters better Peter and Ava get so much closer in Nightmare It is crazy how close they get But it never felt rushed or exaggerated I really enjoyed watching their progression And if you remember, in my review of book one I stated that I wanted to get to know Peter , and find out about his past Well in Nightmare, you get to do just t [...]

    18. First off I d like to say that the ending of this book killed me That was just cruel, I flipped through the rest of the pages looking for soo not fair talk about a cliffhanger Things are getting complicated for Ava her mother is getting sicker she fell in love with an Immortal vampire who cannot love her back and is his own personal blood bank What else could go wrong oh yeah Di is coming for them sooner or later Ava makes Peter promise to find a way to break his promise to Di so he can be free [...]

    19. I was lucky enough to be able to read this book and the first in the series back to back After the ending in Nocturnal, I don t think I could have waited for Nightmare to come out The author is most definitely the Cliffhanger Queen during this series Book 1 had me chomping at the bit waiting for the few hours until I could read Book 2 and now it has me waiting for Book 3 There is so much action in this series that I can hardly contain my excitement as I m writing this I m so in love with this se [...]

    20. Ok where to start I think ava s mum Clare is funny, and I m starting to dread when the time comes and she dies Peter and ava s relationship is starting to get interesting specially with the binding I d have hoped for intimate scenes but the book works great so far it does seem they take 1 step forward and 2 steps back bless themViktor has piped up my curiosity specially towards the end and Ivan now he I don t get I know he has his own motives of revenge but I do actually believe he has a heart [...]

    21. OMG did that just end like that This book is moving the series along quite nicely The bond between Peter and Ava is becoming intense and secrets are revealed I love her aunt who s obsessed with medieval torture devices, don t get on her bad side I also like that we get to hear of Peter s back story I foresee a relationship between Tex and Victor Fantastic.

    22. Awesome read Is there another one Ava and Peter are awesome characters and their greatest challenge is something they don t want to fight.g Claimed Love the development of this story Can t wait to read

    23. WOW el final fue espectacular en serio cada vez que leo un libro de esta saga me voy enamorando m s de los personajes y como van evolucionando especialmente de Ava y Peter Me muero por el desenlace de la historia

    24. I couldn t put this down I love reading the story from both main characters perspective I totally didn t see what was coming with Ivan Wanting to see Jamie too Looking forward to 3

    25. I liked this book but the ending stopped short for me I am not sure if I will get the next book but I am thinking about it seriously I just hope that it continues to be good.

    26. Good book, but i found myself skimming a lot of pages The story line was great but i just don t enjoy reading a TON of useless pages that seem to be page fillers Other than that i liked it.

    27. Chelsea Cameron does a wonderful job creating characters that you can t help but fall in love with Curl up with a cozy blanket, because you won t want to put this one down.

    28. I really liked the first book, so it was disappointing to find this one so dull The dialog and storyline was slow and too elementary I just didn t understand the point.
