    4. Galsworthy is a master of showing off the worst in people Sins, typical weaknesses of the youth, their consequences are described in his books This story is extremely simple, though this happens all the time Fortunately, not all the girls end up as the Migan It s a nice evening book, but I wouldn t suggest it to people who tend to over analyse

    5. What is wonderful about this short story is that it manages to cut you away from the world for one afternoon and make time slow down The story is uncomplicated, and the characters save for the main one a bit flat However, I found the writing extremely graceful and captivating It was a welcome moment of peace.

    6. Horrid, simply horrid But not the bad kind of horrid I mean the kind where its actually lovely, but it breaks your heart The writing is beautiful, and if it weren t so sad, I d absolutely love this I might still love it anyways Everyone should read it so you can talk to me about it Its only like 50 pages or something.

    7. The Apple Tree is selected by Gateway to the Great Books v3 as an example of Galsworhty s work I found it rather ornate and unconvincing in its depiction of emotions, and than just a bit suspect of its melodramatic, overly romantic tones.
